609-T Jib reefing system
Plastimo Jib reefing systems are the result of 40 years of experience in this field. Designed for 4 to 11 metre boats our headsail reefing systems meet the needs of all Yachtsmen, whether experienced sailors or beginners. Easily operated underway and virtually maintenance-free, being made from non-corrosive high precision injection plastics and stainless steel components. A great advantage is that Plastimo reefing systems can be easily installed without unstepping the mast. All our stock models of Jib reefing systems are “T” series for twin groove spars which allows the setting of twin headsails and easy headsail changes. All our stock models are turnbuckle mounting which allows more accurate rigging adjustment with the reefer in place - and allows the use of your existing turnbuckle on the forestay. They still include the chain plates end - but have an additional funnel engineered into the spar to run the turnbuckle through. Selecting a model - whilst boat length is important, you must also consider the forestay size and headsail area size to determine which model suits. 609-T Jib Reefing System - 6 to 9 metre (20 - 30ft) boats The 609 drum cheeks swivel through 360 deg ensuring safe manoeuvres through a smooth and regular feeding of the rope. These cheeks protect the reefing drum and the round unobtrusive design allows free running of the ropes. The reefing drum features stainless steel and Delrin ball bearings. The halyard swivel features Torlon and Delrin ball bearings which enhance the overall performance. Twin groove spar and turnbuckle mounting version.Suits forestay diameter 4mm to 7mm

Stock is warehoused in Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne and will be dispatched based on warehouse availability and delivery location.

- Please note that heavy and bulky items ( some seats, large anchors, consoles, rope, chain etc ) have shipping limitations and can't be sent to any islands ( 2899 - Norfolk Island, 4875 - Thursday Island, 6798 - Christmas Island, 6799 - Cocos island ) or remote areas such as NT, WA, TAS, regional or far Nth QLD. In these cases we will contact you regarding the order and either cancel it or send to an alternative address if possible.

- Delivery times may vary, especially during peak periods. While we strive to have orders despatched within 2-5 working days, some items can take a little longer due to interstate warehouse locations and delivery times. If an item is needed for a specific date, please check with us first. To be on the safe side it is best to order at least 10 working days before an item is needed.
- Buyers living in remote areas such as farms, islands, mining camps, small towns, or out-of-towners, etc may need to collect from their nearest freight depot as we can't guarantee door to door delivery in each case.
- If an order can't be delivered by the courier due to an address issue and is returned to us, we will require an additional payment for reshipping the item(s)
- All deliveries are made during weekdays only, during normal business hours (9am to 5pm). Orders can't be delivered on weekends, public holidays or after business hours.
- We use Direct Freight Express, StarTrack Express, Toll, Couriers Please and Australia Post for shipping items, depending on your location and the item being shipped, at our discretion.
- NOTE: All Australian Courier charges allow for Only 1 Attempted Delivery per order. All orders will be shipped as ATL (Authority to Leave) at the premises. Please supply an address where someone can sign for the parcel.
- Depending on order time, most orders leave our warehouses within 2-5 working days of receiving the order. We do ask that you allow 7-10 working days for delivery, however in most cases orders are delivered within Metro Areas within 2-5 working days. Regional areas can take longer.
- If there is a stock availability issue on certain products in your order, you will be contacted and alerted to the status of your purchase. For more information on products and delivery, please contact us.
- All orders are traceable and are sent with either Direct Freight Express, Australia Post, Couriers Please, Startrack Express or Toll Express.
- *Note: Some products may take longer to despatch, as they are custom order in items and are warehoused interstate with our suppliers.
- Time frames for delivery may alter due to circumstances beyond our control, such as, but not limited to, supplier stock levels.
